Overview

The summertime brings an exciting multi-day challenge to take place on the streets of Pachuca, Hidalgo and Mexico City. We focus on youth using their God-given talents and gifts to reach out to the needy around us. The Urban Challenge offers conferences, training in the arts (dramas, choreographies, puppets, etc.), activities, and street ministry, where participants are challenged to share their faith in the world surrounding each one. As YWAM Pachuca, we have a strong heart for Mexico and the areas surrounding the central area of the country, including Pachuca and Mexico City. We know God has many plans and dreams for these areas, and we firmly believe that He desires to accomplish so much through every program and each participant of the Urban Challenge. This summer program is held in July with conferences, worship times, training in the arts for use in ministry, cross-cultural fellowship and ministry times. Participants will be encouraged and given the opportunity to grow in God and further discover His plan for their lives. We run a fully bilingual program, English and Spanish, and desire to see youth from all over the world united in Christ. Those coming from a different country experience the Mexican culture and are exposed to the needs of the people of this country; Mexican youth likewise experience a different culture, and are motivated to witness to others outside of their own country. This is an ideal opportunity for youth groups who wish to be involved in cross-cultural missions, and the program sets up everything from accomodations, meals, conferences, ministry and more. Get your group together and prepare for God to reveal His heart to you and use you in amazing ways. It is our heart's desire to see a generation of young people covering the earth with the Good News, reaching out to people of all races and all nations, and exposing them to the eternal love of God the Father. We believe that we can tap into each youth's potential and show them practical ways in which God calls them to serve. We believe this world can change and we believe that God calls us to be world-changers - it's something that happens one by one.
